It has been almost seven wonderful years since we started CPAreviewforFREE! We have grown from a very small online presence to a global village of CPA candidates and students from 144 out of 195 countries in the world! It just blows our minds. Along with the growth comes the challenge of keeping the material up to date, being responsive to user questions, providing motivational articles to keep you pumped to outlast the rigors of studying for the CPA exam and maintaining all the social media platforms. Announcing a Price Increase on our Premium Products
In the almost seven years, we have not increased the price of our premium products even once. We've held out as long as we could, but we know you expect the best when you use our site for free or purchase materials from us. So we are announcing a price increase on our premium products effective April 15. Why April 15? We thought it was kind of clever given the fact we are all about accounting and that's when tax returns must be filed in the U.S. You'll note the prices are still low, just not rock bottom. Here are the new prices:
- Essential Content: $20/part for one month of online access and $45/part for 3 months of online access. The online AND printable version of the Essential Content will now cost $46/part.
- SIMS: Online and printable $11.99 per part
- Points to Pass for FAR: $35.99 for one month online/$71.99 for three months online
- Downloadable multiple choice questions: $34.95
So what does this mean for you? Buy now before the price goes up. That's the smart thing to do.
Get a CPA Exam Sponsor
When you look outside the window and think, what do you wonder? Is it the day you pass the CPA exam without skipping over all the hard work you will put into your studies? That's day dreaming. Day dreaming won't get you that CPA, hard work will. If you are known to procrastinate (with the best of us), get someone to help keep you in line. Let's call that person a sponsor. It could be a partner, friend, significant other, family member--whomever, but preferably someone who lives with you. Why? Because you will be home for most of your studying and that's where you will squander your time away with social media, online surfing/streaming, tv, video games or hobbies. Who knows best you are slacking off on your studying? Your sponsor. It will be up to them to help you stay on track. Don't abuse them by cutting down on your studies only to have them nag you to get back on track.
Work with your sponsor on how they can help you. Remember something has to give. There aren't enough hours in the day to continue your normal lifestyle while studying for the exam. You need between 60 and 100 hours of study per part. Sit down with your sponsor and figure out how you are going to achieve those hours of study. It's only fair that they have a say in the process and it emphasizes your seriousness to pass each part the first time. For example...
